As you enter into a new day, a new week, one that may be filled with challenges, surprises and unexpected change, I encourage you in everything you do – trust GOD. That’s right, trust GOD.
Look at the condition of our world today. Everywhere we look, people are afraid of one thing or another. Yes, even the Saints! Afraid of whether the job will this week, afraid of what changes will occur because of financial difficulties, afraid of losing a spouse to someone else, afraid of debilitating illness, just afraid.
The prophet Isaiah, in the 12th chapter of Isaiah, verse 2 says “Behold, God is my salvation: I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JE-HO’VAH is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation. Isaiah says “I will trust, and not be afraid”.
Stop now and take a lesson from our forefathers. When hard times came, they did like King David when he said “I will look to the hills from whence cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord”. Big mama would trike out with the old hymn, “I’m going to trust in the Lord, then the answer would come to the unspoken question – how long – and she would say “until I die”. Hal-le-lu-jah!!!
So whatever the challenge you come against this week, Trust GOD. If it’s sickness in your body, no peace on the job, no peace in the home, children acting out, trust God. As you learn how to continuously trust God, with joy you can draw water from the wells of salvation.
Trust God today and don’t be afraid for God Jehovah is your strength and your song.
May God Bless you is my prayer!!!
