The Anointing

Beloved -

The anointing is God’s power manifested through an available vessel and it is for SERVICE!!! It is not to cause one to feel important in the Kingdom or to boast about ones awesomeness. My (anyone) anointing benefits someone else and someone else’s anointing benefits me - therefore if I want to be effective, I need to continuously submit myself to God so that His Power (anointing) can flow through me to be a blessing to others.

This is the responsibility of one who is anointed. You can’t have Power without responsibility. Consider this: when one loses their connection with the Power source - they lose their effectiveness and consequently begin operating in self (the flesh). Read the story of Samson in the Old Testament. When he began to involve himself with the life of heathens (the world), he lost his power and when it was needed, he had none. I preached a message some years ago, “There’s a whole lot of shaking going on and no Power". Saints, we don’t want to find ourselves in that place. So, stay connected to the power source and allow His anointing to flow through us for SERVICE!!!
